We had a lovely stay for 1 night at Tara Lodge we felt right at home and had a comfortable stay. The location was convenient, room and lodge clean, reception warm and friendly, and it was nice to have parking onsite. We would recommend the location.
We love Tara Lodge. I’ve stayed here before and the staff are just so helpful. Nothing is too much for them. They’re genuinely thoughtful. Highly recommend if you’re going to Queen’s which I was for a conference. It’s walking distance to the university.
This was our first visit to Belfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Tara Lodge. The staff was fantastic! Everyone was pleasant and smiling and when they asked about your day they truly listened to your response. The cooked to order breakfasts were delicious. The location was extremely convenient: a 3 minute walk to the train station (then 2 stops to the Titanic museum); 6 minute walk to the Botanic Gardens/Queens University/Ulster Museum; 15-20 minute walk to Cathedral Quarter. Pubs and restaurants are conveniently nearby. Bravo to Amy Gault, front office manager. Highly recommended.
Just returned from a first visit to Belfast, so not really knowing the areas where to go, we opted for Tara Lodge based on reviews. Well, I'm so glad we did. The staff are amazing, the hotel is spotlessly clean, there are bars and restaurants within minutes walk. I highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of booking you will not be dissapointed. I'm even planning on returning and staying here again. Thank you to Amy and all the lovely staff for an excellent stay.
The staff at Tara Lodge are amazing, so welcoming and they go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. We had a lovely stay in an excellent deluxe double room with a delicious breakfast included, the power porridge is a must! Belfast itself was a lovely city and the Titanic Exhibition and other sites were exceptional, but it was the friendliness of the locals that made our short stay so memorable. When we return to Belfast we'll be heading back to Tara Lodge, highly recommended!
Very welcoming atmosphere. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was cozy and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again if I am back in Belfast for anything.
We had a fantastic stay at Tara Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly, efficient, and always willing to help. The hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy throughout. Our room was excellent, and the breakfast was a real highlight – a nice selection of cold items and cooked-to-order options. The reception staff are lovely. We would certainly stay at Tara Lodge again and thoroughly recommend it to other travelers.

Just returned from an excellent 3 nights’ stay in Belfast and Tara Lodge. We prefer smaller establishments like this and it did not disappoint as you get a more personal touch. Conveniently situated within walking distance of Queens Uni in the student area and close to Botanic station makes travel very convenient. Rooms were clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful and breakfast excellent. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. Our room was in the annex overlooking the railway which was occasionally noisy, but it didn’t detract from our experience. Would definitely use again.
Great stay at Tara Lodge. Staff were all ‘can do’, friendly and efficient. Everywhere clean and tidy. Room excellent. Very good breakfast with nice selection of cold items plus cooked to order traditional. Reception able to recommend local places for drinks and dinner. Would certainly stay again and thoroughly recommend.
