Tara Lodge is immensely proud of this achievement which has been driven by an all-female management team, a rarity in a very male dominated industry in Northern Ireland. Current General Manager, Nora Douds and Front Office Manager Pauline McCullough have been the driving force behind the team, helping them to achieve their potential to win this award. Although we previously won the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award in 2011, 2012 and 2013, it is such a pleasure to get the award back in 2016 after missing out in the last two years! This award is a testament to the teams continued tenacity, determination and hard work throughout 2015, into 2016 and beyond. Their customer service levels continue to be gold standard, as recognised by all the many excellent reviews written by you, our well informed, travel savvy guests.
Our boutique hotel rooms continue to impress our guests with recent re-decoration throughout and the replacement of all TVs in our stylish rooms with large 32”-40” LCDs with built in DVD players. In addition, the Director Conor O’Donnell continues to invest in his property, after just completing a refurbishment of all corridors and common areas, ensuring the beautiful interior design flows throughout the whole property. We are introducing new art works into the property with the fabulous photography of local artist Nigel Jamison, with many local landscapes and landmarks included.
