The Frommer’s Ireland 2010 guide has listed Tara Lodge as one of only seven recommended properties, in the whole of Ireland, when travelling on a budget. Indeed Tara Lodge is Very Highly Recommended by Frommer’s as one of only eleven properties in Belfast and the only accommodation provider given a ‘Find’ icon as ‘a place only insiders know about’ as detailed in the 2010 guide.

Our fabulous location in the Queen's Quarter of South Belfast, a mere 15 minutes walk from Belfast City Hall in the city centre, is close to the university, the Ulster Museum and the Botanical Gardens making Tara Lodge a great base for a city break. We are just a few minutes' walk from many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. We don't have a bar or restaurant onsite but in Belfast the craic is never far away!
