Please pay particular attention to the cancellation policy.
Cancellation: Your reservation is made with Tara Lodge and represents a legally binding contract between you and Conor O’Donnell T/A Tara Lodge. We require a valid credit card to secure bookings and reserve the right to charge the card for cancellations falling outside the permitted time scales, as detailed. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the first nights accommodation charges to the card without any additional consent being required. Bookings must be cancelled before 12 noon on the day of arrival to avoid a cancellation charge equivalent to the first nights accommodation. Bookings can be cancelled by e-mail to info@taralodge.com or by telephone (+44 (0)28 9059 0900). You will be provided with a cancellation number for your reference and emailed confirmation of the cancellation if required. Any cancellations made after 12 noon on the day of arrival will be charged the cost equivalent to the first nights accommodation. For reservations initially made for six or more rooms the cancellation policy is 12 noon seven days prior to arrival.
Accommodations: Accommodation rates include all taxes and a full Irish breakfast. A double room cannot be guaranteed for single occupancy unless the double room rate is agreed and paid. Accommodation allocated will consist of a bathroom with a bath with overhead shower, a shower room or a walk-in shower/wet room area and may have been designed for the comfort of guests with wheelchairs. Check in is guaranteed from 4.00pm onwards but we’ll try our best to accommodate all early arriving guests. If your room is not ready on arrival you are welcome to leave luggage at reception and our receptionist will take a contact number and phone you personally once your room is ready.
Confirmation Credit Card Details: All credit cards are pre-authorised for the full accommodation cost. As this value is held by the bank for up to seven days we prefer that guests provide Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Diners card details instead of Switch/Maestro. However your card will not be charged until your departure or in the event of failure to comply with booking policies. We reserve to right to charge for services received.
Special dietary requirements: We regret that we are not able to accommodate any person(s) with a serious and/or life-threatening nut or food allergy as we cannot guarantee the provenance of every item of food in our kitchen. Any special requests should be advised in writing prior to arrival. Whilst we endeavour to meet all requirements unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
Smoking: All bedrooms are non-smoking. Any bedrooms tainted by residual tobacco odours will be specially cleaned and aired over a 24-hour period and all charges resulting from this, both actual and loss of business (at prevailing B&B rates) will be charged to the credit card given to secure the booking.
Damage: We reserve the right to charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair of any item(s) belonging to the hotel, or the fabric of the hotel itself, damaged either willfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken. In this event your credit card will charged without prior consent being required against invoice(s) that will be provided for the costs incurred.
Secure Booking On-Line: We are committed to protecting your privacy and take our responsibilities regarding the security of your credit card very seriously. When making a booking your credit card details are sent to Tara Lodge by secure certificate, which encrypts all your personal and credit card details so that they cannot be read as they travel over the internet. Your details are then held in compliance with Tara Lodge booking policies. Your details are stored following strict security procedures in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 to prevent unauthorised access and use of your information.
Our Privacy Policy: We are committed to protecting your privacy, and take our responsibilities regarding the privacy of you information very seriously. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

When Booking: We require certain information to allow us to process your hotel booking and notify you of the booking confirmation. When you book, we need to know your name, address and email address, as well as your credit or debit card number and expiry date. We ask for your telephone number so that we can contact you if there is a question concerning your reservation.
